People who are homeless experience behavioral health crises at higher rates than the general population. Without timely intervention, those crises can escalate into emergencies. Strong partnerships between providers of homeless services and behavioral health crisis teams help ensure that individuals receive timely, person-centered care through coordinated responses. This webinar will explore practical strategies for building and strengthening these partnerships before, during, and after a crisis. Speakers will share lessons learned about building trust, clarifying roles and responsibilities, overcoming common challenges, and sustaining partnerships over time.

After this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the role of partnerships between providers of homeless services and behavioral health crisis teams.
  • Identify effective strategies for partnering with behavioral health crisis teams before, during, and after a crisis.
  • Apply practical tools and strategies to support individuals during a behavioral health crisis and improve coordination across community partners.
